February 26 and 27, 2015, we have been visiting the Chief Rabbi of Progressive Judaism in Kiev and Ukraine Alex Dukhovny. These two days were bright and eventful - evening and morning services, conversation, both collective and individual. I especially want to mention the lecture: "The Golden Calf or why we should love our neighbour," where the rabbi did not just talk, and led a lively dialogue with the audience, answered the questions, creating an atmosphere of warmth, understanding and friendship. On the evening before the farewell ceremony Saturday, p. Alex Dukhovny communicated with the younger generation. Today's children are a very curious and spontaneous. The Rabbi had to answer questions about different themes. In general, the meeting was informative and interesting for everyone. This is not the first time rabbi visited us in the community. Every meeting with him brings a lot of discoveries, communication, and knowledge.
